The Process - Drug & Alcohol Treatment
Seeking applicants most likely to succeed!
Tekuma Recovery Group has extensive experience working with people suffering from dependencies of all types and will be seeking applicants who are most likely to succeed in the Israeli 12-step Therapeutic Community.
Our process begins with a careful review of all current and/or recent medical and psychological evaluations that are available from the applicant and his family. The team then assesses the applicant’s suitability to participate in the program which will include at least a phone interview of the applicant with a Tekuma representative. In some cases, a personal face to face interview may be requested, after which a course of action is developed.
Almost immediately on acceptance into the Tekuma program, both the American and Israeli components of the treatment team will begin plans for the patient’s transition back from Israel. Both family, and the referring treatment team will be consulted as to the best possible fit for when the patient returns home. It is essential that the gains made in Israel be supported and maintained by an appropriate supportive and therapeutic environment on return. Also, for one full year after returning home, the Tekuma team will provide support and follow up to insure continuity of care.
